Farrans (Construction) Ltd is an established building and civil engineering contractor with headquarters in Northern Ireland and with operational interests throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Farrans is an operating division within Northstone (NI) Limited whose activities also include aggregate production, manufacture and supply of quality building materials and utility access chambers. Northstone is a wholly owned subsidiary of CRH plc. Headquartered in Ireland and with a turnover of over €18billion, CRH operates in 35 countries, employs approximately 75,000 people and is focussed on three closely related core businesses: Primary materials, Value-added building products and Specialist building materials distribution.
Farrans Lean initiative was introduced in January 2011 to help us drive out waste and establish practices and processes which ensure we deliver exactly what our clients want in the most efficient way at minimum cost.
Farrans Advance is built upon the concept that the people who have helped us gain the reputation we enjoy today are the same people who mould and train our newest recruits.
FEED, Farrans Eco Efficiency Drive was developed and implemented by our Commercial Management Team back in May 2010 to enable us to reach or exceed our business targets for waste, productivity, programme and carbon footprint.
