Farrans (Construction) Limited are the premier contractor, based in N.Ireland. Our Turnover in construction related activities in 2007 was £195m. We are part of the Northstone (NI) Limited group, who in turn are a wholly owned subsidiary of CRH plc, the multi-national building materials group, which employs over 60,000 people world-wide and has an annual turnover of 14 Billion Euros.

Our story began in the 1940's and over the years the commitment of successive management teams to Client satisfaction and service has evolved the Company into a leading building and civil engineering contractor.

We continue to develop excellence in all aspects of building and civil engineering while at the same time the boundaries of service level delivered to our Customers are continually being extended. The concepts of Partnering, Alternative Forms of Contract, Value Engineering, Public Private Partnerships, Performance Related Partnering, Best Practice and Movement for Innovation (M4i) Demonstration Projects have all been eagerly embraced at Farrans and this has facilitated the development of a pool of expertise second to none.
