Introduction

Farrans (Construction) Limited is the largest building and civil engineering contractor operating in Northern Ireland. The Company also has a significant presence in Scotland and East Anglia. We are part of Northstone (NI) Limited who are owned by CRH plc the multi national organisation whose interests extend worldwide and relate mainly to the supply of materials and aggregates to the construction sector.

We have been successfully trading for over 70 years. Our Divisions have increased over this period of time due to Client demand and include Civil Engineering, Utilities, Commercial Building, Farrans Homes and Farrans Healthcare. These Divisions play an important part in providing our Clients with first class construction solutions and build quality second to none. These Divisions are backed up by dedicated and committed teams in Bid Management, Commercial Management, Technical Support, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Plant Operations, Accounts and General Administration. In addition, we have been very successful in forming Joint Venture Partnerships with other contractors in order to complete large scale, challenging projects across the United Kingdom.
