Training In Farrans

Farrans offers in depth training to all personnel in relation to their chosen career and in other aspects of our Industry.

The market is such that Companies have to keep up with all developments in the construction industry. Every aspect of this is covered under Training in Farrans and, as Investors in People, a personal Training Matrix is produced every year for each employee. This is produced as a follow on from Personal Development Reviews, which are held in April, and Staff Appraisals, which are held in November.

Every employee gets the opportunity to set out the training that they require and a Matrix is produced to ensure that the necessary training is given as soon as possible. We believe that this benefits both the Company and our Teams within each of our Divisions. The Company, in the past, has been the recipient of the Construction Excellence Training Award, which was in recognition of our Record with regard to Training Staff.

Another important aspect of training is in the Professional Development of our staff. Consequently, we provide free training agreements for related Professional Bodies, including:

• The Institution of Civil Engineers
• The Chartered Institute of Building
• The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors

Farrans will pay the annual subscription of one related Professional Body per employee per annum.
