Weekly Updates - Area 1 - Area 2
Farrans Construction are delighted to have been awarded the prestigious contract for Phase 1 & 2 of the Belfast Streets Ahead Project.
This very exciting project will see the shopping streets in Belfast transformed to world class standards and will help Belfast to compete with the very best city centres in Europe.
Work is being carried out on an area-based construction programme and is expected to be completed late 2010. The areas included in Phase 1 & 2 are:
- Ann Street
- Castle Lane
- Corn Market
- Arthur Street
- Arthur Square
- Arthur Place
- Callender Street
- Castle Street
- Fountain Street
- College Street
- Fountain Lane
- Queen Street
- Donegall Place
- Castle Place
Unfortunately, with a project of this scale and nature, some disruption is inevitable. However, we are doing everything that we can to keep any inconvenience to an absolute minimum. We are working very closely with Belfast City Centre Management and with the traders to ensure that everyone is kept fully up-to-date on the programme of works and to address any issues which arise.
