Experience, knowledge and first class delivery is the foundation of Farrans Utilities water and wastewater engineering services. We are a national supplier with current Framework Contracts with Scottish Water, Northumbrian Water, Essex and Suffolk Water, Affinity Water, Northern Ireland Water and Dublin City Water Department. We have also completed one-off Contracts for the all of the above clients and United Utilities and Scottish Gas Networks.
Watermains Rehabilitation
We are an efficient delivery partner in water main rehabilitation with approximately 50 No squads completing over 1000 km of rehabilitated water mains annually utilising all of the following techniques.

· Horizontal Directional Drilling
· Spray lining
· Open cut
Our competencies incorporate management of detailed design, modelling, planning, programming, roads authority formal notification (NISRANS), community liaison, networks liaison, HSEQ management, customer notifications and management, site preparation, pre-chlorination, construction, testing, commissioning, handover and compilation of as-built data in various formats.
Trunk Main Installation
We have extensive experience in the delivery of Trunk Mains across the UK having installed major schemes for Essex and Suffolk Water, Kelda Water, Northumbrian Water, Scottish Water and Northern Ireland Water.
