Alvar is responsible for our Civil Engineering and Utilities Divisions in Scotland.

Alvar is a graduate of QUB and moved to Scotland to join Farrans from University in 1987. He was appointed Regional Manager for the Division in 2001 and has been responsible for the development of Roads and Infrastructure works for Clients such as Glasgow Harbour and marine and piling works for clients such as BAE systems. The region has also developed a Utility branch to replace and repair pipelines for Scottish Water. Alvar was appointed Director in January 2008.
