At Belfast Streets Ahead Farrans have contributed to the revitalisation of the city centre, significantly improving the physical fabric of streets with new natural stone paving and the wholesale renewal of all street furniture including lighting, seating, signage and bollards. 

Bespoke art has been incorporated at key locations throughout the streets together with improved facilities for markets and traders. The ultimate aim of the project was to regenerate the city centre, providing a high quality, fully accessible environment supporting a vibrant city centre that places Belfast firmly on the map as a European destination of choice.

The granite paving is a unique material sourced in the Far East.  Farrans control our shipped consignments to optimise our stock quantities at any given time, calling off material from our central stockyard to the operating areas as and when it is required.

Working in a congested public domain has demonstrated the success of Farrans' longstanding cultural commitment to health & safety, quality and the environment.  Our tradesmen were deployed in multiple locations simultaneously across the city centre where they used detailed pre-planning of their work to great effect in order to minimise noise, dust and general disruption.
