Senior Quantity Surveyor (Northumberland)

Farrans is currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The successful candidate  will be an integral part of our project delivery team, responsible for the commercial management of  civil engineering projects in the UK and NI.

The role will be based in Northumberland, with the successful candidate being expected to travel as part of their role to construction sites, Company fixed locations or other locations as requested by Management.

The individual will be responsible for the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality on their designated project.

Utility Site Engineer (Ulster & Leinster)

Farrans Construction is seeking to recruit Utility Site Engineers.

The role will consist of immediate involvement within an exciting new project commencing in Ulster and Leinster regions. The successful candidate will be expected to travel as part of their role to construction sites, Company fixed locations or other locations as requested by Senior Management.

The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the daily inspection of the quality of the work completed onsite. He/ She, along with the Project Management team will initiate continuous improvements to ensure the contract is delivered on time and within budget.  This will ensure the customers’ expectations are met, whilst aligning activities within industry standards.

Managing Surveyor (NI)

Farrans is recruiting for a Managing Surveyor.

The Managing Surveyor will report to the Divisional Commercial Manager  and have line management responsibility for their Project Commercial team(s), taking the lead commercially for contracts they are responsible for.

This role can be based out of Head Office in Dunmurry, with the successful candidate being expected to travel as part of their role to construction sites, Company fixed locations or other locations as requested by Management.

The successful candidate  will be tasked with  the development and implementation of the company’s commercial strategy and for the projects that they are responsible for. He/She will be expected to demonstrate leadership and people management skills, to deliver an efficient commercial and contractual management service to Company projects.
