Farrans achieve top-level recognition in Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing Workplace Accreditation
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Level 3 Accreditation, the highest band achievable, through the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing Workplace Accreditation Programme by Business in the Community Northern Ireland in partnership with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
This recognition reflects our continued commitment to creating a workplace where the health, wellbeing, and happiness of our people are at the heart of everything we do.
The Take 5 model encourages individuals and organisations to focus on five evidence-based actions that support positive mental health and wellbeing. Achieving the highest level of accreditation demonstrates that wellbeing is not simply a standalone initiative within our organisation but is embedded throughout our culture, policies, and day-to-day operations.
Our accreditation success has been driven by the dedication and passion of our Health & Wellbeing Committee, supported by Health & Wellbeing Champions from across the business. Together, they have developed and delivered a comprehensive programme of meaningful initiatives designed to support colleagues in all aspects of wellbeing.
These initiatives include:
- Individual health checks and wellbeing assessments
- Mental health awareness and support programmes
- Financial wellbeing support and guidance
- A comprehensive health benefits package
- Our recently launched Wellbeing Fund, which helps bring teams together through wellbeing-focused activities across our sites and office locations
- A calendar of engagement events and wellbeing activities throughout the year
Achieving Level 3 Accreditation is an important milestone for our organisation. Research consistently shows that workplaces which prioritise employee wellbeing benefit from increased engagement, improved morale, stronger collaboration, and a healthier, more resilient workforce. By investing in wellbeing, we are investing in our people and creating an environment where everyone can thrive both personally and professionally.
This achievement recognises the collective effort of colleagues across the business who have embraced wellbeing initiatives and helped foster a positive, supportive workplace culture.
We would like to thank our Health & Wellbeing Committee, our Wellbeing Champions, and all employees for their ongoing commitment to making wellbeing a priority.
As we celebrate this accomplishment, we remain committed to building on this success and continuing to develop initiatives that support the health, wellbeing, and success of our people.
Together, we are creating a healthier workplace and a stronger future for everyone.
