Farrans launches partnership with Community Wood Recycling

🌳 We are delighted to have formed a partnership with Community Wood Recycling to support sustainable changes within our business.🌳

Community Wood Recycling is a nationwide network of 30 social enterprises who have been recycling wood since 1998. The organisation is helping our planet by saving carbon and fighting unemployment, giving workplace opportunities to disadvantaged people.

They collect wood waste from companies to stock a nationwide network of reclaimed timber stores. The team sell a huge range of wood and also have lots of wooden products for sale. You can also commission them to make something bespoke.

Our site in Leeds city centre Live Oasis: Strato has just received its Ten Tonnes Achievement award for diverting wood waste for reuse and recycling.
