Farrans recognises the achievements of newly Chartered Surveyors

6.07.2026

We’re delighted to congratulate Pete Jess and Stefan McParland on successfully passing their RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and achieving Chartered Surveyor status.

This is a significant milestone in any surveying career and is testament to the dedication, commitment and professionalism Pete and Stefan have demonstrated throughout their APC journey over the past two years. Achieving chartership requires candidates to balance demanding project responsibilities with extensive professional development, technical learning and rigorous assessment preparation.

Becoming a Chartered Surveyor through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a globally recognised professional achievement. It demonstrates not only technical competence and industry knowledge, but also a commitment to the highest standards of ethics, professionalism and client service. The qualification enhances both individual career prospects and the expertise Farrans offers to our clients and partners.

Pete and Stefan’s success also highlights the value of the support available through the Farrans RICS Training Programme. The programme provides structured guidance, mentoring and development opportunities to help candidates progress confidently through the APC process and achieve chartered status.

Congratulations again to Pete and Stefan on this outstanding achievement. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make across Farrans and the wider industry.
