Farrans Sacyr JV launches festive appeal with Christmas trees in Belfast Grand Central Station
Farrans Sacyr JV has launched a festive charity appeal with the sponsorship of four 12 foot Christmas trees which are now lit up in Belfast Grand Central Station.
As part of this appeal visitors to the station will be able to follow the QR codes in front of the trees to make a donation to their charity partners – Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and the Simon Community.
Air Ambulance NI is the charity that works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. The team are needed on average twice per day and can be airborne in about 5 minutes and provide interventions at scene that can be the difference between life and death. As a local charity that relies so much on fundraising in aid of the service, your support is crucial. Each day, Air Ambulance NI needs to raise almost £7,000 and all contributions make a difference.
Simon Community NI is Northern Ireland’s leading homeless charity. Operating throughout Northern Ireland, they provide preventative services, temporary accommodation and specialised support services that address the unique challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness. Their aim is to not only provide immediate assistance but also long-term solutions that end the cycle of homelessness.
Farrans Sacyr JV would like to thank the people of Belfast for their support during the construction of the Belfast Grand Central Station.
