Farrans’ Stakeholder and Social Value team volunteers at Colin Community Allotments

Our Stakeholder and Social Value team is known for working with our project teams to ensure a positive and long-lasting societal impact through the delivery of social value activities which bring economic, social and environmental benefits to the communities in which we operate.

Recently they all came together for some team building and a volunteering day at Colin Community Allotments in Belfast alongside Sharon McMaster, Community Outreach Manager from Natural World Products.

Farrans’ team was joined by members from the Portlaise Family Resource Centre and they combined forces to weed in ‘no-dig’ beds and plant turnip and beetroot seeds which will germinate and grow in the polytunnel. Once ready the vegetables will be moved into the garden area.
