Monaghan team transforms Brookevale House outdoor space

We’re incredibly proud of our Uisce Éireann team based in Monaghan, who recently rolled up their sleeves for a rewarding volunteering day at Brookvale House, part of Praxis Care.

From revitalising outdoor spaces to enhancing the sensory garden, the team made a real, visible difference — creating a brighter, more welcoming environment for residents and staff alike.

Brookvale House provides vital support services for individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities, helping people live fulfilling and independent lives within their community.

In total, the day represented an estimated 30 volunteer hours, alongside a contribution of gardening materials, including bulbs and wildflower seeds, to help bring the sensory garden to life.

This is a great example of how our people bring our values to life — showing kindness, taking action, and giving a helping hand where it matters most.
