As the industry continues to face a skills shortage, Trea Crozier has written an insightful article for New Civil Engineer where she has identified a number of potential solutions which employers should consider in order to make the industry more attractive to women.
“Engineering was never in my plan, but while studying a degree in architecture I made the shift to construction engineering when I discovered a love for the more technical lectures. Looking back, I had absolutely no idea where an engineering degree would take me. Being young and naïve I certainly never considered how it would fit in with motherhood.”
