The Project
This project required the construction of 96 Gamesa turbines operating up to 239 megawatts. Works involved 65km road construction, 45000m3 of reinforced concrete, extraction of 1.2 million tonnes of rock from six on site quarries and the installation of electrical infrastructure including 400km of HV cabling, the construction of 800m2 control building and 410 hectares of tree clearance.
