Rebecca McAteer shortlisted in the Inspirational Leader category at the Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards

Congratulations to our Senior Quantity Surveyor Rebecca McAteer who has been shortlisted in the Inspirational Leader (Contractor) award category at the Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards.

The Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards will recognise the individuals and teams making outstanding contributions to gender diversity within their industry. This represents a unique opportunity for women within the civil engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction sectors to gain recognition at a national level and have their achievements celebrated across New Civil Engineer, Ground Engineering and Construction News.

Rebecca’s employment journey has been shaped by challenges, personal growth and a determination to succeed. She is a people-first leader who consistently achieves successful commercial performance on her projects by investing in those around her.  

During demanding project periods, she has helped create the conditions for success through continuity, trust and direct, respectful communication. Colleagues describe Rebecca as someone who listens carefully, acts quickly and supports people through real-life challenges—whether navigating conflict, confidence gaps, bereavement or personal pressures—so individuals can bring their best to work.
