Returning to the beautiful grounds of Gosforth Park this summer 7-10 July, innovators from all over the country will descend on Newcastle Racecourse for the ninth year of Northumbrian Water’s Innovation Festival to take on some big challenges facing the water industry today.
REGENERATION is the theme for this year to create a better future for all, from the roots up.
As part of the Living Water Enterprise, Farrans will be there and you can sign up for our sprint in partnership with Bam called ‘Over the Hedge’ where we will be asking “How can we collectively maximise the value of BNG statutory duty to deliver net environmental improvements across multiple partner’s investment portfolios?”
Biodiversity Net Gain is nascent and complex legislation. BNG risks placing additional programme delays and cost on project budgets. Many sectors are facing a challenge to reduce the risk of BNG whilst maximising the value and potential of the legislation to bring about meaningful ecological improvements.
This sprint would appeal to those involved in environmental improvements from a community, environmental or ecology perspective.
