Three Farrans’ projects recognised at CIHT Awards 2025
Three of our Transportation sector projects were recognised this week at the CIHT Awards in the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London in front of an audience of 450 industry professionals.
Hosted by Professor Glenn Lyons and guest presenter Louise Minchin the awards saw many fantastic projects rewarded for their excellence.
In the CIHT Infrastructure Award category our Farrans Sacyr JV project for client Translink Belfast Grand Central Station took the top place for its exceptional engineering solutions which delivered creative and resilient infrastructure. Gull Wing Bridge, which we delivered for Suffolk County Council, was highly commended while our Bam Farrans JV project Herring Bridge for Norfolk County Council was commended.
Belfast Grand Central went on to be highly commended in the CIHT / Brightly Software Technology and Digital Transformation Award and the CIHT Health and Safety at Work Award which recognise initiatives that improved safety practices and culture at work.
Both Belfast Grand Central Station and Herring Bridge were commended in the CIHT AtkinsRéalis Collaboration Award.
