Belfast Grand Central Station wins Community Benefit Award and Overall Project Award at NI RICS Awards

We are delighted to announce further industry recognition for our Farrans Sacyr JV project Belfast Grand Central Station at the Regional Northern Ireland RICS Awards.

The project, which has been delivered for Translink, was shortlisted in three categories: Community Benefit, Public Sector and Infrastructure. While the Community Benefit and Public Sector categories were judged at the regional awards, the infrastructure category progressed directly to national consideration.

On the night, Belfast Grand Central Station was named Winner of the Community Benefit Award, recognising the project’s lasting positive impact on local communities through social value initiatives, engagement and legacy outcomes.

In addition to the category success, Belfast Grand Central Station received the evening’s highest accolade by being named the Overall Project Winner for Northern Ireland, highlighting the exceptional collaboration, innovation and delivery demonstrated throughout the scheme.

As a result of the regional success, the project will now represent Northern Ireland at the RICS National Awards in October. Alongside the Community Benefit and Overall Project honours, the project has also been shortlisted for the National Infrastructure Award.

These achievements recognise the outstanding work of everyone involved in delivering Belfast Grand Central Station, including Farrans Sacyr, Translink and the wider project team. The awards reflect the project’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure while creating lasting social value and positive outcomes for communities across Northern Ireland.
