Clore Manor receives full marks in Considerate Constructors Scheme Audit
Our project Clore Manor for the Care Concern Group has received full marks in its recent Considerate Constructors Scheme audit.
Farrans is designing and constructing a modern and efficient 6-floor care home which will have 108 bedrooms and underground parking facilities.
The site, which is on the south side of the Great North Way in the Borough of Barnet, previously comprised of a 3-storey care home.
The Care Concern Group is an independent care company which operates in England, Scotland and Wales. Construction on Clore Manor began in July 2025 and is expected to last until late 2027.
The CCS report recorded:
“When it comes to the community, Clore Manor is all about encouraging polite and respectful language and behaviour around construction sites. It’s dedicated to keeping things safe, avoiding unnecessary disruptions, and reducing nuisances for everyone nearby. It also works closely with locals to make a real, positive difference.
“On the environmental front, the focus is on protecting nature, cutting down negative impacts, and using resources wisely, with the goal of lowering carbon emissions across the value chain. It also partners with the community to improve the local environment in meaningful ways. As for the workforce, the Registered Activity aims to build an inclusive, diverse, and skilled team, while promoting safety and supporting both mental and physical health. Workspaces are kept clean, well-maintained, and free from physical and biological hazards.”
