Farrans Sacyr JV team scoop three CEF awards for Belfast Grand Central Station

Congratulations to our Farrans Sacyr team and our client Translink for taking home the Infrastructure Project of the Year above £10m Award and the Overall Winner Award for Belfast Grand Central Station at last night’s CEF Awards in Belfast.

The judges commented that it is a ‘masterclass’ project that has set a blueprint that can be used on many other projects.’

Rachel Tohill from our project team also took home the Apprentice of the Year Award with judges saying she was a ‘worthy-winner who would be a future leader in the construction sector in the years ahead with a very bright future.’

The CEF Excellence Awards have been the most prestigious event in the Northern Ireland construction calendar for over 25 years, providing an opportunity to recognise the achievements of the local industry and to publicise the substantial contribution that our industry makes to the economy and society in Northern Ireland.
