Sustainable September success as six van loads of donations brought to charities

This month we participated in Business in the Community’s Sustainable September initiative which highlights the benefits of supporting charity shops, reducing waste by choosing second-hand items, and giving unwanted belongings a new lease of life.

We were overwhelmed with the kindness of our colleagues with six van loads of good quality, unwanted belongings left at our drop off points, making this our most successful collection ever.

These donations have now been used to restock eight charity shops in the run up to Christmas with Oxfam and Restore both benefitting. 

We would like to thank everyone who took part in this initiative and also our team members who recently took time out to volunteer with the British Heart Foundation (BHF), supporting the charity’s local clearance shop as part of our Sustainable September activity. 💛
