Two students join Farrans for SistersIN Job Shadow Day
Yesterday we welcomed Freya from Friends’ School Lisburn and Sarah from St Patrick’s College Maghera in to our headquarters as part of the SistersIN programme.
Both students have been mentored throughout the year by our Head of People Helen O’Doherty and our Head of Communications Rebecca Kincade.
Our day focused on skills which are transferrable no matter the future career path and, with both girls interested in law and human rights, our legal team popped in to answer specific questions they had.

We know both girls have bright futures ahead of them and we look forward to watching their progress as they go on to A Levels and beyond.
We are looking forward to attending the SistersIN Celebration Event on 24th March, the flagship moment of the programme year, a day dedicated to celebrating the achievements, growth, and impact of our young women, their mentors, and the teachers who support them.💫
Over 1,000 attendees, including nearly 800 sixth-form female pupils from 60 schools, alongside mentors, educators, and partner organisations, will be attending the celebration event at ICC Belfast | Waterfront Hall | Ulster Hall.
We are looking forward to engaging with emerging female talent. Come and say hello to our team on the day.
